to clarify...

so, just so everyone knows, we're not destitute or anything. The article, I get the feeling, is making us sound like little waifs! Yes, it sucks to not have insurance, but really I think with insurance you still pay a lot of money out to have a baby. So, we probably saved money in the long run. Plus, it's our choice to both work part time so we can stay home with the kids as much as possible. When dennis is in law school I'll probably have to work full time, and we'll probably have to pay out of pocket for another baby...again. But, that's life. Anyway, we've had people saying they're going to send checks and stuff, really guys it's not that bad! Checks are always welcome though! ;)

Jenn! I am so glad that you found us. I loved looking at your blog and I decided that I really needed to see it. I read all about your insurance issues and I have to say that you are not alone. I have stressed about it alot since we have insurance but it is not that great and we have to pay a ton each month with basically no coverage. I hate even the word insurance. Thanks for posting your inspiring article. We will have to keep in touch.
